The SanaCouch 1000 safety ergometer has been developed for use in the cardiology sector. Special safety aspects, e.g. in cases of suspected cardiovascular disorders, stress test after a cardiac infarction or after bypass operations, and special exercise ergometry applications, such a heart catheter examinations, require the use of a couch/semi-couch safety ergometer.

This safety reclining/semi-reclining ergometer can be tilted horizontally from 0° to 45° as well as up to 30° to the left during the examination. This is particularly advantageous for stress echocardiography. The level adjuster makes the device very stable. The patient is well secured by handles and a lap belt and thanks to the padding and the ability to adjust the ergometer to suit their needs, patients lie or sit extremely comfortably.

Enables training and evaluation options adaptable to every individual patient
A chip card system grants the patients’ timesaving and easy admission to the rehab training. When a patient's chip card is inserted into the chip card reader of the ergometer it is automatically configured with that patient's personal training program. The therapist just has to start the training.
